Whipple
Dam -A portion of Whipple Dam State Park is open to hunting, trapping and the
training of dogs during established seasons.
Little
Buffalo - Approximately 300 acres of Little Buffalo State Park are open to
hunting, trapping and the training of dogs during established seasons.
Reeds
Gap - 96 acres in Reeds Gap State Park are open to hunting, trapping and the training of dogs
during established Pennsylvania Game Commission hunting seasons, with the exception of:
1) hunting of woodchucks also known as groundhogs is prohibited and 2) dog training is only
permitted from the day following Labor Day to March 31 in designated hunting areas.
Trough
Creek - Approximately 100 acres of Trough Creek State Park are open to hunting, trapping
and the training of dogs during established Pennsylvania Game Commission seasons.
Warriors
Path - Excluding posted safety zones, all of Warriors Path State Park is open
to hunting, trapping and the training of dogs during established seasons.
Canoe
Creek - Approximately 550 acres of Canoe Creek State Park are open to
hunting, trapping and the training of dogs during established seasons.

Rothrock
State Forest - Over 90,000 acres of state forest land located
in Huntingdon County provides wooded land for hunting, fishing,
snowmobiling, hiking and undeveloped recreation. For more information,

Pennsylvania State Game Lands: Three separate areas are located in close proximity to the park. State
Game Lands No. 73 is near the intersection of PA Route 164 and Route 26. It provides 20,815 acres of
public hunting land. State Game Lands No. 67 and No. 261 provide a combined total of 8,646 acres of
