Canoe
Creek State Park - The park is open year-round. Winter activities include ice skating on two ponds
next to the Beaver Dam Road Boat Launch, and also sledding, cross-country skiing, and
iceboating.
Greenwood
Furnace (state park) Ice skating is popular on the lake and the park serves as a snowmobiling
trailhead after the end of antlerless deer season. Snowmobilers may use parking lots, restrooms and
picnic tables before riding on the adjacent state forest trails.
Whipple
Dam (state park) Ice skating on a one-acre section of the lake is enjoyed by many during the winter
season. Ice fishing is permitted on the rest of the lake.
Snowmobiling: A snowmobiling trailhead may be used daily after the end of antlerless deer season.
Snowmobilers may use parking lots, restrooms and picnic tables before riding on the adjacent state
forest trails.
Trough
Creek (state park) The park serves as a trailhead for trails on Rothrock State Forest lands. Parking and
restrooms are provided in the park. A snowmobile trail map is available from the park office.
